5 Things That You may not know about me!
2. The second item that you probably do not know about me is that when I attended college at Texas Tech I was very active in the Rodeo Association. Active to the extent that one year I was chairperson for all of the advertising for the Texas Tech Rodeo.
Can you think of any better way to meet new guys!
3. Let's go back to the days of my childhood. As a busy little girl I loved to be active. One of my most accomplished skills was to perform for family and friends with my Hula-Hoop skills. I was very good at being able to keep the hula-hoop going for a very long time. I could go from my waist to my knees to my calves to my feet and back to my waist without losing control. Next I was able to go from my waist up to my neck and back to my waist nonstop. Yeah! You had no idea that you were acquainted with such a celebrity.
4. At the very mature age of 8 , I experienced having my first boyfriend. Each day at school he would share his brown leather fringed jacket with me as a symbol of his devotion. Looking back, I believe that my affection may have been for his neat fringed suede leather jacket rather than for him. How sad is that. He still lives in Brady. I wonder what he would think if he knew this little tidbit of info. I wonder what happened to that jacket. It would be hip nowdays.
5. I grew up hunting and fishing with my family as it was such a way of life for my family. You probably are not aware that my dad and I did a lot of fishing with a trot line during the summers of my college years. One summer we caught a 52 pound yellow catfish out of Brady Creek. It was extremely heavy to lift. What a catch! Needless to say we enjoyed a fish fry for several families from this prize.
Do you realize I was forced to go back 47 years to think of something that was new news about me. Does that me that I am an open book?
I hope you enjoy the chuckle. Cheryl
